Johanna Dejager Gaining In Popularity - Video Shows Why

Canadian female bodybuilder Johanna Dejager's gaining in popularity because of her interesting combination of blonde beauty and raw muscle power. A mix that has Kristy Hawkins as a perenial favorite as well. To be sure, it's not that they're blonde but more the total package and especially their amazingly peaked biceps. I can think of few other female bodybuilders who seem to generate so much excitement among fans.

Here's Johanna:

Women Bodybuilders, Winstrol, and Side Effects - Just Don't Use It

This post should be considered a warning to any female bodybuilder who is using or is considering the use of a drug called Winstrol. The simple request I make -- heck, I beg you to pay attention to this -- is to not use it. The reason for this is simple: constant use could cause the tendons of the very muscles you are working to build to weaken and eventually fall apart. That's right, just plain collapse.

I can't explain how I know this only that it happened to someone I know and after several years of constant use of the drug. It turns out that many top female bodybuilders use this drug and its use continues unabated apparently.

That's dangerous.

What's particularly interesting is that this negative impact on tendon use isn't even listed as a major side effect when I looked up the possible adverse impacts of its use in general or for women...

I found...

"Acne or oily skin; enlarging clitoris; hoarseness or deepening of voice; irregular menstrual periods; unnatural hair growth; unusual hair loss."

This problem is just not listed there at all regardless of gender -- tendon damage happens to men and women. In fact, there's one online paper which implies that the impact of constant use of Wistrol is not clear.

Well, don't believe it. It's clear. This is your warning.

If you know of anyone who sells this who's not a doctor, they should not, but that's another story. Make sure they've told you each and every possible bad thing that could occur with repeated annual long term use of Winstrol.

interestingly I did find this sentence -- after a lot of deliberate digging -- offering a voice of reason in explaining why one should not use Winstrol:

"Winstrol increases collagen synthesis. It will give you bigger tendons. However, your body compensates for this by making them more brittle, weaker, and more prone to injury. I can't tell you how many bros work out anaerobically and become injured while on winstrol. Guys who lift in the 1-5 rep range while on winstrol, to baseball players who sprint all out from a stationary position -- winstrol should be the LAST drug they choose. Most of them like winstrol because they don't get the weight gain from it but it is very detrimental to bros who train for any sport anaerobically. Tendons tear easily on it. "

The sentence was on this bodybulding message board page set specifcally dedicated to the use of Winstrol -- and no, it wasn't in celebration.

Collete Nelson Proves That Men Really Do Like Buffed Women

In this video Collete Nelson proves that men really do like buffed women. She's talking to a couple of men on the street in New York City -- there's no sound in this video but it's obvious -- when one of them asks her to flex -- so she does.

Heather Policky Gets Ready For Las Vegas NPCs

Dieting, lifting, and generally forming herself into a form not unlike this picuture, the ever-popular Heather Policky's getting ready to compete in the upcoming Las Vegas NPC contest. Heather thinks she's still heavy, but I totally disagree. Still, she's working to drop more pounds and look even tighter than she already does.

Melissa Detwiller Improves Her Body - Strong Finish In NPC Jr Nationals Has Many Projecting Her As Most Improved FBB

Melissa Detwiller is certainly the most business-savvy female bodybuilder, even if her sex-based (not, as in showing sex-acts, just in presenting her freakly-awesome body in revealing clothes) marketing approach stirs the emotions of some of her more "closed and confused" competitors.

(Also Mel has an incredible website and internet marketing approach. Everyone should study it.)

But Melissa Detwiller may finally have reached the point where her bodyshaping process is transforming her into one of the best female bodybuilders.

A look at posts over at "Unrealmuscle" shows that fans are reacting to the constant improvement in the muscularity and definition her body expressed at the NPC Jr. Nationals. I personally think Mel should work on her biceps, with an eye toward adding an inch. Her legs are very well-formed. With this constant improvement, a pro-card is in the future for Melissa Detwiller.

Johanna Dejager Shows How To Build Shoulders - Video

Johanna Dejager is a Canadian National fbb with a killer website at http://www.johannadejager.com .

As her profile reads: "I was born in a small town just outside of Ottawa, Ontario (Canada) and spent my early years growing up in the surrounding area on a dairy farm.

With growing up on the farm came a lot of responsibilities. The chores were shared between the family members and there wasn't much time left over for any after school activities. So, for the athletic department, I did not develop a specific talent for any sport. But I was particularly good at certain track events that required brute strength i.e. shot put or discus but I recall soccer and field hockey something that I enjoyed during regular gym classes. I did alot of horseback riding, swimming and cycling during my spare time at home. I have always attributed my bodybuilding base from the hard work on the farm.

I didn't go to a gym until collage and just trained on and off for a few years until I went to a local bodybuilding show and friends convinced me to give it a try. So I decided to get a bit more serious.

What I enjoy the most from the weight training is the elated feeling after a work out - the bodybuilding shows are a bonus and a challenge. The competitions give me a goal and something to push me a little harder in the gym everytime I walk through those doors.

I will always train even if I do not compete in bodybuilding shows. I truly believe - 'what you put in is what you get out'. Bodybuilding is a great experience."

Below, Johanna shows how she works out her shoulders.
