A sure sign that female bodybuilding has arrived, at least in the porn industry, is the recent coverage in Hustler Magazine. This feature, which you can read a PDF copy of here, has famous FBB's Collete Nelson, Melissa Detwiller & Amber Steel in a great article on why they're bodybuilders and the charge they get out of being seen. Here's what Melissa Dettwiller and Amber Steel said:

Melissa Dettwiller and Amber Steel support their bodybuilding careers with provocative
Web sites that feature posters and female-muscle porn. Both agree that while they love the sport, it doesn’t pay the bills.
Even at the pro level, successful female competitors can only make around $10,000 a year, not enough for a lady who needs training time, healthy food, spray tans, a gym membership, hair care, supplements and perhaps a nutritionist.

Luckily for Dettwiller and Steel, they have loyal muscle-fetish fans. “When there is an element of ‘This girl could really kick my ass if she wanted to,’ that’s a deeper element of eroticism,” Steel proclaims. “They want a double thrill. A female bodybuilder can wear a bikini on her Webcam and, just flexing her muscles,make as much money as girls with their clothes off. Her muscles are sex. The biceps are like her boobs. Guys get off seeing her hamstrings, quads and calves. That’s the fetish.”

Steel points out that the women get off on being admired. It appeals to their hedonistic, exhibitionistic side. “Yeah, of course
I’ll take my clothes off in public,” she says. “Why not? It’s art.”
