British PM Cameron's Joke Brings Down House Of Commons

In this video posted today at itNews on YouTube, British Prime Minister David Cameron issues a joke about it being his duty to "give pleasure" to a constituent who was pleased at England would not get involved in the bailout of Greece. It's a hilarious blast that brought the "house" down - literally.

It's good to see a PM with a sense of humor. Remains to be seen how England't decision, or his joke, will impact its relationship with Greece.

Still, even if England and other nations took action, the Bank of England governor warned that it would not stop the European Debt Crisis.

Driving Through Tornado - Like Storm Conditions In Suburban Atlanta, Geo...

California has its Earthquakes, but Georgia and The South have its storms. This blogger used to think that it was better to be in a storm than in an earthquake, because at least you could go away from the storm and knew it was coming. Not on Sunday.

After dropping my Mother at Atlanta International Airport, I drove back home and unknowingly into a major, severe storm. While weather reports warned of "severe" thunderstorms, the location and timing were not known to me.

So, I got a massive surprise in the form of winds up to 60 mph, and a large, dark set of clouds approaching, then looming over me as I rushed to get home.

As the video shows, the storm was an experience. What I hate are how traffic lights don't seem to be aware of weather conditions, the timing's the same all the time and they blow in the wind.

What was most disconcerting was the storm didn't seem to head in the direction it was initially going in.

But, with all the craziness and frantic traffic, I made it home.

I later learned that the same storm left trees down and over 59,000 people without power.

Fresh from her sports model division win at the Oakland Silver and Black bodybuilding contest, Megan Avalon shows how she's worked on her body even more by adding an inch to her already impressive biceps and worked to develop her calves and hamstrings.

Megan is using a number of methods to advance her image, from websites and blogs to bodybuilding contests and webcam shows. The combination is building a fanbase that can lead to movies and video games.

Yes, movies and video games. Megan's look means numbers and as her popularity grows her value as a celebrity image for entertainment platforms increases too. The 2010 WonderCon was a hotbed for images of strong women in comic books and in movies like Kick-Ass, who's most popular character is a young woman who's not afraid to, well, kick-ass.

Megan's path is like that of Pamela Sue Anderson: from modeling to acting and movies. But the difference is Megan's promoting what it means to be very healthy, very strong, and very female.

Megan Avalon wins Silver and Black Contest in Oakland

The Silver and Black Bodybuilding Contest was held on Saturday, April 27th at Fremont High School in Oakland, CA. Megan entered and won the "Sports Division" of the contest. Her goals were to have tight legs and even tighter for her next shows, which comes with "More intense training and dieting."

Megan wants to thank everyone for coming to the show and cheering her on.
